My name’s Claire Robins and I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder.  I run my childminding business ‘Happy Hands’ from my home in Ludgershall.

I have been a childminder for over 11 years. I became registered on 19th June 2001 and I provide childcare for ages 0 to 16 years.

I also offer a babysitting service for evening and weekends.

As an ongoing commitment to ‘Happy Hands’ standards and your child’s welfare I have completed the following:

• OFSTED Registration including overnight care
• Early Years (Paediatric) First Aid taken with St John’s Ambulance
• Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace taken with ‘Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
• Public Liability Insurance with NCMA (National Childminders Association)
• Employers Liability Insurance with NCMA
• Completed the introduction course in home-based childcare
• CRB checks carried out on both myself and my assistants
• NVQ3 in CCLD (Children’s Care, Learning and Development).
• Continuing short courses to keep my training up to date (generally in my own time).

 ‘Happy Hands’ plays an important role in giving parents a greater choice of high, quality, flexible childcare.  I am able to work hours that are much more flexible than a nursery and can provide overnight care, all this plus the added bonus of being in a home based setting.

I provide healthy home cooked meals and snacks, trips to the park, fantastic days out, walks and outings to local facilities along with visits to toddler and childminding groups where children can interact with others of a similar age.  Click here for more information on our activities >>

I offer a drop off and pick up service at Castle Primary School and Castle Playschool.  Other schools can be considered.
